February is National American Heart Month.  The Magnolia S.H.A.P.E Health Ministy is sponsoring multiple events this month to promote healthy hearts.

Heart Disease is the leading cause of death among African Americans, especially in women, and is more deadly than all forms of cancer.  Statistics show that 1 in 4 male deaths and 1 in 3 female deaths each year are caused by heart disease.  The warning signs in women aren’t the same as the warnings signs in men.
